Brakes before and after
Erik's Mustang Restoration Site II

Just another thing to throw some money at.

As you can see, there was alot of greasy dirt in both of the rear wheels. Both of the adjuster cables were broken, (causing the drums to show no wear in a very long time) the pads on the shoes were gone, and the the right side adjuster was frozen. Other than that, these were good brakes right? hmm guess not. No wonder this car stopped like *&%@

Not sure what happened to the pictures of the brakes after, but suffice it to say that I replaced the wheel cylinders to hopefully eliminate the "greasy" problem, and I replaced the shoes and adjusters so that I hopefully, I will have rear brakes again.

This is the front brakes after replacing everything but the shoes.
